Tavern Danijeli

We are located in central Istria, 1 km from Kringa. The tavern is decorated in a rustic style and offers homemade Istrian specialties made from boškarin, dishes cooked under the bell ('peka'), and various homemade pastas. Kringa has a famous vampire story that dates back to 1672 about Jure Grando. The legend says that Jure Grando, who died in 1656, was buried in the local cemetery. After 20 minutes, the power went out and thoughts began to stir that the legend had awakened. After a few jokes about Dracula, we lit candles and started eating homemade ravioli with truffles, veal under the bell, and gnocchi. A strange evening without light, surrounded by candles, prompted us to think about the local Dracula.
