Semić or Semići (older names: Stinich, Simich, Zemitz, Semiczz) is a small settlement located 2 km north of Lupoglav, nestled on the slopes of Ćićarija, above the pass descending from the north into the Boljunščica valley. During Ottoman attacks, many refugees from Dalmatia found refuge here.
The village is home to the chaplain's church of St. Lawrence from the 18th century, surrounded by the local cemetery. The population engages in farming and livestock breeding, and on the surrounding meadows, you can often see an idyllic rural scene - numerous livestock, including Istrian cows grazing. Additionally, from here, you can embark on discovering the untouched nature of Ćićarija and Učka through hiking trails. A table with a hiking map is located beneath the church.
